Our hostess was hoping that the street would be cleared for all the cars to park, but no such luck! We all laughed, as most of us are seasoned Montrealers, who are used to parking on top or in snowbanks!
All our hard work...piled in a corner, ready for distributing. |
In we went, wet boots, mittens, coats, at the door, greeted with hot cup of coffee and the most delicious treats imaginable!
We were all so happy to see each other, we didn't mind the hard work to get there, it would all pay off!
Recipes and snacks out for everyone. |
Long ride to get there, takes a much deserved break! |
We cheered on a mom, 9 months pregnant, stuck in traffic for an hour and a half, and 3 kids in the back seat! Oh, I wish I could've flown her home after such a journey, what a trooper!
We had good intentions of discussing the "guidelines" this time around, but it all got thrown out the window in the midst of the snowstorm!
All of us left with a smile on our faces. It is like Christmas for meal-makers and with the snow that statement felt even more true! Happy dining, everyone!
